Chatham-Kent OPP respond to more than 15 weather-related incidents in 4 hours thumbnail

Provincial police in Chatham-Kent are asking motorists to drive carefully after responding to more than fifteen weather-related incidents in just four hours Friday.

OPP officers responded to a range of calls, including a call for a disabled tractor trailer that temporarily closed eastbound traffic on Highway 401 at Bloomfield Road.

“Driving too fast for road conditions is the number one cause of winter collision,” said OPP Const. Jay Denorer in a media release.
