With the Centre giving a move ahead to reopen liquor stores, the state government is likely to take a choice on Saturday about reopening Tasmac outlets. A cash cow of the Tamil Nadu government, closure of Tasmac outlets all through the lockdown has already caused earnings loss of Rs three,500 crore to the exchequer.
