UK supermarket visits jump by 79 mln before coronavirus lockdown: Nielsen


Britons revamped 79 million further grocery shopping trips in the 4 weeks to March 21 year-on-year as they stocked their "pandemic pantries", riding a 20.five% leap in grocery store sales, industry knowledge confirmed. Market researcher Nielsen stated British consumers spent an extra 1.nine billion kilos ($2.4 billion) on groceries.
