UGC releases list of schemes proposed for continuation till September 30


NEW DELHI: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released the record of UGC schemes that can continue up to September 30, 2020, on its legitimate site.

A public realize in this regard released through UGC prompt that "In continuation to the Public Notice No. F.1-8/2016 (JS/F/CPP-II) dated 26 March 2019, it is informed to all concerned that the UGC schemes mentioned at annexure will continue up to 30.09.2020."

The record released through UGC includes Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs): SWAYAM, Establishment of Centres in Universities for learn about of social exclusion and inclusive policy, Women's Studies in Higher Educational Institutions, UGC research awards for school, fellowships for post-doctoral researchers, fellowships for doctoral scholars, scholarships for post-graduate scholars, Maulana Azad National Fellowship for the minority scholars, national fellowship for college kids with disabilities, national fellowship for SC applicants, national fellowship for other backward categories and so on.


The schemes together with Special Assistance Programme, Centre with Potential for Excellence in a Particular Area (CPEPA), Colleges with Potential for Excellence/College of Excellence shall be continued best up to the authorized length of their tenure (in each case) through UGC.
