Covid-19: Mapusa students stitch masks

PANAJI: NSS students of Dnyanprassarak Mandal's College and Research Centre, Assagao put their hands together to stich and distribute masks during the Covid-19 lockdown in Goa.

After the school was once closed its gates due to the lockdown, the institute’s NSS unit convenor and programme officers knowledgeable its 560 students to give a contribution for a noble reason for getting ready the masks.

Around 200 students, who had the facility of sewing the masks commenced the paintings of constructing them.

Now, around 900 masks were allotted among shopkeepers, migrants and very important service workers in their villages in Pernem and Bardez talukas.
