Coronavirus threat: Rs 2,000 currency note found on road burnt by Surat civic team


A Rs 2,000 currency note was burnt by way of a group of Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) in Puna area of town on Monday after it was discovered on highway in suspicious situation. Police initiated an inquiry in the incident to find out if it was an act executed intentionally to create panic. Recently 3 currency notes were allegedly dropped on a footpath in Chandi Chowk are of city by way of a man after applying saliva and sweat on it.
