Pune SSC Students of DES school celebrate during the felicitation ceremony organised by the school

PUNE: Seven students from Pune district received prizes for excelling in more than a few topics in the secondary college certificates (SSC, std X) board examinations carried out by way of the Maharashtra State Board of secondary and better secondary training. Among the 3 districts covered underneath Pune division including Pune, solapur and Ahmednagar, students from Pune bagged best possible awards. The marksheets of the online effects decalred on June eight had been distributed on Friday

The awards are instituted from donations given by way of people to the state board to award topic toppers. As many as 34 prizes had been declared by way of the Pune division. When asked how prize-winners are selected, since many students receive 100% marks in those topics, senior board officers stated that student scoring the best possible combination marks in SSC are selected if rankings in a selected topic are the same.

Student of St Vincent's Highschool, Chirag Siroya scored complete 100 marks in science to bag the P P Matoshree M Kaladevi award.
