Kurukshetra University gets autonomy of admission


KURUKSHETRA: The Kurukshetra University (KU) officials knowledgeable that by way of distinctive feature of being ranked as Category-I college by way of the Ministry of Human Resource Development on account of scoring three.52 issues out of four.0 in the National Assessment and Accreditation’s (NAAC’s) overview, KU has been granted autonomy to make admissions in quite a lot of publish graduate (PG) lessons being presented in the campus.

KU Vice Chancellor Dr Kailash Chandra Sharma said, “This admission process will help in getting the most productive students, which would help the college to achieve excellence in teachers and research. This determination of the government is a step against true implementation of the academic autonomy which is able to help in additional improving the academic requirements of the college.”
