Hong Kong leader apologises for causing 'conflict and disputes'

Embattled Hong Kong chief Carrie Lam apologised for the way in which her administration tried to move a legislation allowing extraditions to China, the reason for protests this week. "The chief executive admitted that shortcomings in government's work has lead to conflict and disputes in Hong Kong society and has disappointed and distressed many citizens," her place of job mentioned.
