'Educaional qualification a barrier for drivers'

The transport ministry has made up our minds to do away with the minimum instructional qualification required to get a licence to force heavy vehicles (buses and vehicles). Drivers interested by three.35 road lakh injuries out of 4.8 lakh in India in 2016 had instructional qualification of Class VIII and above. “There is not any knowledge to determine that injuries are connected to uneducated drivers,” stated a transport division official.
