Three Students from Hyderabad win at World Robofest 2019


HYDERABAD: Three students from Hyderabad have secured 2nd and 3rd position in 3 categories at the global Robofest-2019 organized by Lawrence Technological University (LTU), Michigan.

A class 12 scholar of DAV Public School, Kukatpally Suhas Devulapalli, Aarnav Devulapalli, a class 10 scholar of Sentia The Global School, and Tarun Mukhesh, magnificence 6, Manthan International School, Tellapur accomplished this feat. The 3 students are educated at Tix Robotics, Miyapur.

Named as Teqq Televisors, the crew consisting of the three Hyderabadis have secured 2nd position in two categories—Unknown Mission Challenge and Game (Sr Game) categories. They have also secured 3rd position in Bottle Sumo class (Pushing bottle or fighters off a desk).


A complete of 250 teams for 16 nations have participated within the match organized by the LTU and competed within the junior, senior and school divisions.


Robofest encourages students to have a laugh while learning principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and Computer Science. Students design, assemble, and program the robots all the way through the event. Since its inception in 1999, over 25, 000 competed within the fest.
