NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is more likely to release the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) fourth semester end result anytime soon.

The NIOS D.El.Ed fourth semester end result could be introduced soon on its official site — nios.ac.in.


Candidates, who appeared for the examination in 2019, can take a look at their results by way of visiting the NIOS official end result page — https://www.nios.ac.in/examresult.aspx. Candidates are required to login with their registration ID and date of delivery to acquire the NIOS D.El.Ed results.

The NIOS D.El.Ed fourth semester examination was once carried out from March 26 to 30, 2019. The NIOS D.El.Ed fourth semester was once carried out for - Course-508: Learning in Art, Health & Physical and Work Education at Elementary Level, Course-509: Learning Social Science at Upper Primary Level and Course-510: Learning Science at Upper Primary Level.

NIOS D.El.Ed: Objectives

The targets of the programme are to:
1) Enable the lecturers to know and cope with variety in his/her context;
2) Empower instructor to beef up high quality of classroom processes/transaction;
3) Develop capacity in lecturers to advertise kid friendly, kid targeted processes at school;
four) Familiarise the lecturers with appropriate teaching learning processes;

5) Facilitate lecturers to develop leadership & problem fixing skills among youngsters;

6) Sensitise lecturers to make sure kid rights and comparable issue.


The Elementary Teacher Education Programme thru open and distance learning device is meant essentially for upgrading professional development i.e. skill, competencies, attitudes and understanding to make teaching and learning more practical for operating (in-service) lecturers in the elementary colleges.


The NIOS is organizing this Diploma in Elementary Education or D.El.Ed. direction for lecturers who are recently hired in colleges however no longer qualified enough for teaching. The Ministry of Human Resource Development or MHRD introduced the NIOS D.El.Ed. examination for untrained lecturers in 2017 after bringing in an modification to the Right to Education Act.


The result of 3rd D.El.Ed exam was once declared in February.
