Forest department extends treatment to injured elephant in Sakleshpur


A wild elephant in Sakleshpur that sustained an damage on its limb is being treated through the local wooded area department officers. Deputy conservator of forests, Hassan Shivram Babu said that they have been feeding the 30-year-old tusker, who is popular amongst locals and foresters alike as Bheema, sugarcane laced with antibiotics and painkillers. “We discovered the injured tusker round three weeks in the past.
