Fake quote claims Kangana slammed Shabana


A viral photograph message has been doing the rounds on social media these days, claiming Kangana Ranaut used an anti-islamic rant to slam veteran actress Shabana Azmi for her tweet on Navaratri competition in 2017 taking a dig at Hindu goddesses. The quote claimed to be of Kangana highlighted was alongside the lines of the Muslim neighborhood's practices like child marriage, triple talaq, polygamy among others.
The symbol titled "Kangana gives stunning reply to Shabana Azmi" quotes the actress as announcing, "This Eid lets pray that no Aisha is married off at the age of 6, No Shah Bano is given Triple Talaq, No Meena Kumari has to go through Halala, No Fatima becomes fourth wife, No Shehla has to wear the burqa, No Ishrat becomes terrorist and no Mumtaz has to give delivery to 14 kids.”


However, stories counsel that the quote attributed to Kangana Ranaut is faux and no interview or dialogue carried these statements through the actress. Kangana's team also confirmed that the observation was pretend and that she did not respond to Shabana Azmi.

In September 2017, Shabana Azmi had tweeted a picture all the way through the competition of Navaratri, for which the actress confronted a large number of criticism.



However, the tweet of the veteran actress was changed and shared on social media. Shabana later denied making this kind of comment.



Earlier this year, a confrontation broke between Kangana Ranaut and Shabana Azmi after the previous accused the latter of being anti-national. The incident came about put up the Pulwama terror assault, after which Azmi, in conjunction with husband lyricist Javed Akhtar denied an invitation to a cultural fest in Karachi, Pakistan within the wake of the assaults.


Kangana had labelled Azmi as an anti national announcing that they kept ties with Pakistani artists, regardless of a ban on them after the 2016 Uri assaults.
