Car and SUV sales see steepest fall in nearly eight years

NEW DELHI: Car and SUV gross sales saw their sharpest fall in just about 8 years while all of the car categories – including two-wheelers and business vehicles – slipped into the damaging as nervous consumers stayed out of the market ahead of the uncertainty related to national elections and drive on jobs and economy.
