AU conducts BSc and BCom entrance test


ALLAHABAD: The Undergraduate Admission Test (UGAT) for BSc and BCom used to be performed via the Allahabad University on Monday. This 12 months 83.40% of the registered scholars grew to become up to give the entrance test for BSc while for BCom, 88.10% appeared for the entrance test.

"I had filled the form at AU for BSc maths but when I had to choose between JEE advance and BSc from AU, I went for JEE", stated Saurabh, an aspirant.


The test for BSc (online mode) used to be held at Eight centers of the city and 18 centers positioned at other towns around the nation. For offline mode, there were 16 centers within the city while 14 in other towns of the country.


Likewise, for BCom front, a complete of 10245 applicants had been registered out of which 9096 (88%) appeared within the test, stated the director. "Of these, the attendance in percentage was 80.95% for online and 89.01% for the offline mode", knowledgeable the director.


Varsity also performed the entrance test for BSc home science workforce by which Five girls, out of Ten registered for online mode appeared and 56 out of 64 for the offline mode gave their exam.


"There were no reports of any untoward incident or cheating from any of the test centers as the entrance test was held peacefully", stated Singh.
