Wipro's employee a/c hacked; co investigating

BENGALURU: Indian IT services and products firm Wipro Ltd stated on Tuesday a few of its employee accounts can have been hacked because of an advanced phishing campaign and that the company had launched an investigation to comprise any doable impact.

The Bengaluru-based corporate was once responding to a Reuters question after a cyber safety blog stated Wipro's programs have been breached and were being used to release assaults towards a few of its shoppers.

"We detected a potentially abnormal activity in a few employee accounts on our network due to an advanced phishing campaign," Wipro stated in an emailed remark.
