COIMBATORE: BJP candidate in Coimbatore Lok Sabha constituency C P Radhakrishnan on Monday countered the allegations against the commercial policies of the BJP government on the Centre.
Radhakrishnan advised reporters that loss of jobs and industrial crisis had been a false propaganda unfold by means of opposition events. He said opposite to the opposition events’ allegations, there was once enlargement in the district.

“The Communist events stay mentioning that they are going to remove GST and that there is not any enlargement,” he said. “How will two CODISSIA parks come up, one on 360 acres and any other on 350 acres? If the BJP government was once against small and tiny industries, why would they scale back GST on rainy grinders from 26% to 18%?” he said.

“It is not the Congress and the DMK who diminished GST. It was once minister S P Velumani and me who explained the situation to the GST council and were given it diminished,” he added.


Countering the opposition claims that almost 40,000 small and tiny industries had shut retail outlets around the state in the last few years, Radhakrishnan said greater than 56,680 other folks have availed loans worth Rs 865 crore underneath Mudra scheme which offers loans as much as Rs 1 lakh for deficient other folks. So many pavement dwellers have benefited from this. “We are one of the first districts to get a defence park and a research and building sector. This will give industry to many small industries and make use of such youth,” he said.


He said if industries had shut down, other folks should analyse the explanation at the back of it. “Before the Modi government got here, other folks had 10 to 14 hours of energy lower forcing them to run industries on diesel, which they might not manage to pay for,” said Radhakrishnan.


“Many other folks also shut down industries as a result of their children are not fascinated with working it,” he added.
