WB: 8 rail staff hurt as train collides with car


KOLKATA: At least 8 railway group of workers have been injured when an EMU native teach dashed against a desk bound inspection automotive close to Srirampur railway station on Saturday, a senior officer said.
All the injured team of workers of the inspection automotive have been taken to sanatorium for remedy, Eastern Railway Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Howrah, Ishaque Khan said.



The teach from Howrah was once transferring against Srirampur station, where the house signal was once red, but the teach overshot it and collided sideways while crossing the desk bound inspection automotive at a crossover of tracks, he said.


None of the passengers of the teach have been reported to be injured, Khan said.


The 37057 Howrah-Seoraphuli native dashed against the inspection automotive while drawing near the Srirampur station round four.25pm, an ER spokesman said.
