Update station diaries every 2 hrs: DGP to SHOs


SASARAM: Director general of police (DGP) Gupteshwar Pandey has requested SHOs of all police stations in the state to update their station diaries every two hours and send the picture copies of up to date pages to the SP concerned every two hours through an fast messaging platform.


The DGP passed the order after carrying out surprise inspection of a number of police stations, together with some in Patna, recently. Station diaries have been found pending at most of these police stations. Several SHOs have been suspended for dereliction of duty.


The DGP has requested all senior SSPs and SPs to ensure that SHOs observe the order.


Sasaram ASP Rajesh Kumar said SHOs in the district have already started sending picture copies station diaries to the SP every two hours.
