Training centre for deaf on Metro route to go

“We’ve heard that BMRCL is commencing paintings in a few weeks, however they have no longer communicated with us yet. We don’t know where to go with these students. We are already suffering to run the institution. But we don’t have any option as BMRCL desires to demolish our three-storey construction for a station,” stated a staffer. The centre has been functioning in a BBMP land on lease.

Residents staged protest earlier

In truth, many citizens including children, had earlier staged a protest to protect the Madina Masjid floor from Metro paintings. Mohammed Danish, who plays cricket in the floor stated: “We regularly play cricket here. Now, BMRCL will start paintings and we don't have any idea when the project will likely be over. They should at least allow us to play in the to be had space,” he added.
