Rs 600 crore cleared for Jewar airport land in 3 villages


GREATER NOIDA: The Gautam Budh Nagar district management has started the compensation procedure for six villages for land bought for the proposed global airport in Jewar.


Of the Rs 2,852 crore required for compensation for land, an amount of Rs 600 crore has been cleared for three villages — Ranhera, Parohi and Banwariwas. For the rest three, ie Dayanatpur, Kishorpur and Rohi, approvals are anticipated soon.
