Road rage: 4 held for thrashing bus driver


CHANDIGARH: Police on Monday arrested 4 kids for allegedly assaulting and perilous a Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) bus motive force in a case of road rage near Sector 51.


Satish Kumar, the bus motive force, stated when he reached sector 51-52 gentle point, the 4 accused on bikes began riding alongside his car in a perilous means. When he objected, they began arguing with him and stopped the bus. They allegedly hit him and threatened him of dire consequences sooner than fleeing.


Kumar, a resident of Barwala, Hisar, lodged a complaint with the police. Cops registered a case under Sections 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty), 353 (attack or legal drive to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), 506 (punishment for legal intimidation) and 34 (act executed by a number of particular person with identical aim) of the IPC (Indian Penal Code) registered at the Sector 49 police station. Police later arrested the entire 4 accused. They are Chottu (23) and Amit (23), both citizens of Tin Colony, Sector 52, Rohit (22) and Dhavender (25), both citizens of Mauli Jagran.
