Pkl: Day 1 sees huge crowd at Mansa Devi temple


PANCHKULA: Additional leader secretary (ACS), Haryana, Keshani Anand Arora, visited Mansa Devi Temple in Panchkula and paid obeisance on the first day of Chaitra Navratras on Saturday.

Chief executive officer (CEO), Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, S P Arora, stated devotees started coming in since 3am at Mansa Devi and Kali Mata Temples. He stated massive crowd was witnessed all over the day.


"Devotees in thousands came to worship at the temples," stated Arora.

ACS Keshani, after performing yajna, additionally looked after the free camp organised by way of the Haryana Aayush department on the temple premises. He additionally looked after the arrangements executed by way of the shrine board in and around the temple premises.


S P Arora stated: "Every year, devotees from around the country visit the temple during the navratras."


Around 700 cops, including 150 home guards, have been deployed at Mansa Devi Temple.


"700 police personnel have been deployed at four different sectors and 15 special check posts have also been set up and 51 traffic cops have been deployed to manage traffic in the area," stated the police.
