Noida: PCR van ‘used for ferrying cop’s Pomeranian to house’


NOIDA: A PCR van, a an important tool for maintaining legislation and order in the city, was once used for transporting a Pomeranian, purportedly belonging to a police officer, on Thursday night, video pictures taken via an eyewitness has proven.

Apart from the motive force, the auto additionally had a police constable, in line with an eyewitness. The automobile — a white Innova with PCR number 15 — stopped near Surajpur roundabout, added the eyewitness. A motorbike came to a halt near the van, and a formative years sporting the canine sat inside it. The constable then sat on the bike.

A source provide at the spot stated that the canine belonged to an officer and was once to be transported to his residence. A police officer stated that the canines used in the power do not include Pomeranians.


“We do not know anything about the incident. Information may also be sought from the Police Lines,” Pankaj Rai, Sector 58 SHO, instructed TOI.


Manoj Singh, regional inspector, Surajpur Police Lines, stated that he will find more information about the incident. “We have canines which might be used for investigation purposes. As of now, I don't have any data,” he added.
