No question of postponing Group 3 exams: APPSC


VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Chairman P Udaya Bhaskar said that there was no proposal to delay the preliminary exam for Panchayat secretary publish which is scheduled on 21 April. Addressing a media conference right here on Monday Bhaskar said that they have got received a couple of requests from aspirants to delay the exam and nonetheless heading to conduct the exam as in step with the time table.


“ It is not that easy to delay the competative esamination. While a couple of aspirants are requesting to delay the exam, hundreds of aspirants are requesting us to conduct the exam. There is no unfastened date to conduct this exam in the coming three days. So we have now decided to conduct OMR based preliminary exam on Sunday,” he said.


Bhaskar said that they have got issued 33 notifications till date and heading to conduct all examinations as in step with the time table.


The APPSC is aiming to conduct a common exam for more than a few jobs in accordance with the educational qualification of the candidates. “ Many aspirants are writing multiple examinations and they are leaving the present process if they qualify for the simpler process. In a bid to keep watch over this we're understanding very best imaginable ability based unified exam during which aspirant can make a selection the process after qualifying the specific exam,” Bhaskar said.
