NAAC tag eludes several colleges

PATNA: Various colleges in the state, which fee exorbitant fees from students, but lack infrastructural amenities, are still not permitted by way of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Gaya-based Braj Bhushan Sanskrit College’s main J Okay Singh urged the University Grants Commission to simplify the newest means of NAAC accreditation. “Universities and colleges will now be granted A++, A+, A, B ++, B+, B, C and D grades,” he said.

12 NAAC permitted colleges under PPU: Of the 25 constituent colleges under Pataliputra University (PPU), 12 had been permitted by way of the NAAC so far. Vice-chancellor Gulab Chand Ram Jaiswal said, “The university is seriously monitoring the entire colleges preparing for NAAC accreditation.”
