Murder suspect attacks cops, shot at in B'luru


BENGALURU: Police shot and injured a 28-year-old repeat offender after he threw stones at two constables in an try to break out from their custody close to Shivapura Lake in Peenya on Thursday morning.

Sachin, a resident of Laggere, was once excited by greater than six cases and was once the main accused within the slaying of Vinod alias Chowki Narasimha, 23, a cab motive force from Andrahalli, police stated.


According to police, Sachin and two buddies, Kartik and Hitesh, stabbed Vinod to death on April 2. A police staff learnt Sachin and Hitesh have been hiding in Hosagavi village, close to Kikkeri, in Mandya. “We arrested Sachin and Hitesh and brought them to town,” deputy commissioner of police (north) N Shashikumar stated. “They confessed to killing Vinod and agreed to turn us where they'd hidden the weapons. When police took Sachin to Shivapura Lake to recuperate the weapons on Thursday morning, he hurled stones at constables Jayashankar and Prakash Nayak in a bid to escape.”


Slaying over motorcycle


Preliminary investigation revealed Kartik had pledged a bike with a chum, Nanjesh, for Rs 14,000 two years ago. Nanjesh suffered a paralytic stroke a couple of months ago and passed at the motorcycle to Vinod. Vinod used the motorcycle and helped Nanjesh talk over with health center. Police stated Kartik noticed his motorcycle out of doors a bar in Laggere on April 2. Accompanied by means of Sachin and Hitesh, Kartik confronted Vinod and demanded that he return the motorcycle. Vinod refused and the trio stabbed Vinod to death.
