Most on poll duty, Dankaur cops ask Jaypee to pitch in


NOIDA: Faced with serious personnel crunch, the biggest police station in Gautam Budh Nagar district at Dankaur has requested Jaypee Infratech Limited, the concessionaire of Yamuna Expressway, to reinforce patrolling in the house.
While the Dankaur police station has an inspector, 17 sub-inspectors and 31 constables, handiest 10% of the personnel is to be had this present day for deployment. Others were roped in for election responsibility.

Jaypee Infratech spokesperson Ajit Kumar instructed NewsTread that the concessionaire is following numerous tips given via the audit crew.


“Various speed-monitoring cameras were deployed via us and we will be sending a report back to the police concerning the challans. The IIT audit crew had suggested that patrolling be enhanced and we will follow that,” he said.
