LIP fields Simarjit Bains for LS candidate


Ludhiana: Lok Insaf Party (LIP) on Friday named it’s leader Simarjit Singh Bains because the party’s candidate for Lok Sabha seat from Ludhiana. Simarjit Bains, who's an MLA from Atam Nagar assembly seat, fought the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from the similar seat and won more than 2.1 lakh votes.
Addressing the mediapersons, Balwinder Singh Bains, LIP chief and elder brother of Simarjit Bains, introduced his identify earlier than the gathering of the supporters of the party at their administrative center in Kot Mangal Singh space of the city.

On the occasion, the LIP leader first sought blessings from his mother Kashmir Kaur after which went to Gurudwara in Kot Mangal Singh to provide prayers.

Talking to mediapersons later, Simarjit Singh Bains thanked Punjab Democratic Alliance (PDA) and core committee of LIP. He added that politics for him is not a business. “Remaining in politics we seek to finish mafia, medication and corruption in Punjab and it's going to be our first responsibility. To succeed in that despite the fact that I've to sacrifice my final drop of blood, I will be able to now not hang back myself ,” mentioned Bains. LIP supremo mentioned if elected from Ludhiana, he'll paintings for development.


On being requested if Akali Dal will field former minister Bikram Majithia from Ludhiana, Simarjit Bains mentioned he'll be lucky if he gets an opportunity to contest election in opposition to him as he is the person who “planted” the drug roots in the state of Punjab. He added that he swears via the dust emanating from the feet of Punjabis that with their strengthen will end the drug peddlers and drug buyers from the state.


Bains appealed to citizens to solid their votes on the foundation of performance of the applicants.


As a display of strength, huge collection of supporters of the party had amassed at the administrative center of the LIP.
