Jeweller's employee vanishes with gold in Ahd


AHMEDABAD: A Naranpura resident who runs a jewelry business in Manek Chowk, on Monday filed a criticism with Khadia police, mentioning that an employee of his had fled with 1,217g of gold, value Rs 39 lakh.
Prakash Soni (46) lives at Sanskruti Flats in Naranpura and runs a jewelry shop in Manek Chowk. He has stated that Ghanshyam Soni, a resident of Nava Naroda, labored for him as a salesperson for seven years.

“Ghanshyam was once given the accountability of handing over jewelry to quite a lot of jewellers and to get better bills from them. Some two months ago, when Prakash demanded fee for jewelry from one particular jeweller, he told Prakash that he did not receive any jewelry from his corporate. When Prakash inquired into the matter, he found that Ghanshyam had raised a bill of round Rs 39 lakh for jewelry that he never delivereded to the jeweller,” the FIR states.


When Prakash requested Ghanshyam about this, he promised to go back the jewelry through March 30, 2019.


“As neither the gold nor the money was once returned, Prakash went to his house to inquire about it and located that Ghanshyam had long past missing and a criticism for that was once filed with Nikol police,” mentioned the FIR.


Prakash then approached Kalupur police and filed a criticism for breach of agree with and cheating towards Ghanshyam.
