Hisar: Man rapes ex-classmate, films act to stop her wedding

HISAR: Hisar police have registered a case in opposition to a adolescence for allegedly raping his former classmate and recording the act to prevent her wedding ceremony. However, the marriage of the rape survivor used to be solemnised on Sunday following which the police have registered a case in opposition to the accused and started investigations.

According to Hisar police, a case has been registered at the criticism of the 20-year-old rape survivor in opposition to her former schoolmate below sections 341 (wrongful restraint), 376 (1) (rape), 384 (extortion), 500 (defamation), 506 (felony intimidation), 509 (insult the modesty of a girl) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 67 (publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic shape) of the IT Act.

In her criticism given to the police, the girl said she and the accused studied in combination in categories XI and XII and each become good buddies. Some time later, at the pretext of having refreshments, he took her to a hotel and raped her. The rape survivor further alleged that the accused also recording the act and also took objectionable footage. He then started blackmailing her ans also threatened to kill her and her circle of relatives, she added.

The complainant further stated that the accused started calling her repeatedly because of which she had suffered physically and mentally. He also threatened to damage her marriage through making her video and photographs viral.

It used to be also alleged that the accused had also set the entrance door of her house on fireplace in an inebriate condition and then a criticism used to be lodged with the police.

Women police station in-charge Bimla Devi said that the marriage of the woman used to be solemnised on Sunday with none interference and a case has been registered in opposition to the accused. The subject is below investigation, she added.
