Gurugram: Missing six-year-old girl reunited with parents


GURUGRAM: Police on Friday reunited a six-year-old lady together with her oldsters after she had gone missing from Palam Vihar on Wednesday.

The family, initially from Uttar Pradesh, was visiting kinfolk in Molahera village when the girl were given separated from her oldsters.


On Thursday afternoon, a Palam Vihar resident spotted the kid wandering outside, stated police. The girl realised that the kid may well be misplaced and reached the police station together with her.


Police in an instant took up the case with the kid welfare committee (CWC). During counselling, the girl revealed the names of her oldsters — Dhansu Ram and Maharani. She also stated they had been from UP’s Fatehpura village.


“A unique team was deployed to go searching within the house where she was found. Soon afterwards, her oldsters reached the police station and had been reunited with the girl. The oldsters instructed us that that they had reached Gurugram from UP on Tuesday and had been on the lookout for paintings right here,” stated police spokesperson Subhas Boken.
