Gurugram: Ambala Cantt receives bomb threat


AMBALA: The Ambala Cantonment railway station director (SD) Baljot Singh Gill has received any other letter by the use of post to his place of business of bombing a number of stations within the area on April 16 at around 1 pm within the afternoon. Earlier a an identical letter was received on the Ambala Cantonment SD place of business on September 25, 2018, and the Government Railway Police (GRP) had registered a case to investigate the topic.

SD Baljot Singh Gill said, “In the afternoon when I was checking the mail of my place of business, I found a letter with a risk of bombing a number of railway stations within the area. Immediately, the railway police pressure and GRP were alerted in regards to the letter and we wrote for registration of a case in this topic. The security on the station was already up to the purpose, and we're following the entire due procedures to keep the passengers safety our best precedence. We have received information that an identical letters had been received at different stations as well including Ferozepur. A an identical letter was received at Anandpur Sahib Station on April 13.”


Ambala Railways Superintendent of Police, Dheeraj Kumar Setia said, “We have received a grievance from the station director and a case has been registered to investigate additional. We have alerted the entire concerned departments.”


Ambala Cantonment GRP SHO Ram Bachan said, “It is written within the letter that we might take the revenge of our 300 individuals who had been killed by means of Indian Army and they might kill 1,000 against them. The stations including Ambala, Kurukshetra, Panipat, Karnal, Sonepat, Himachal are named within the letter. It has mentioned that they might bomb the army as well as spiritual establishments. We have registered a case beneath Section 124-A, 153-A, 295-A, and 505 (I) (B) of the Indian Penal Code to begin the investigation.”
