Gang of three that burgled homes, stole cars busted


GURUGRAM: Three people were arrested in reference to a theft in a fabric store in Model Town, police mentioned on Monday. During interrogation, the accused published that they committed 17 area and car thefts in the city. Police have recovered quite a lot of stolen items from their possession.
The stolen items, together with three Honda vehicles, two motorcycles, 11 cell phones and a few clothes were recovered from their possession, police mentioned.

The accused were nabbed from Delhi on April 17 and produced prior to the court. They were then taken right into a four-day police remand.

The police mentioned they had received a grievance a few theft at a fabric store in Model Town on March 16. Following this, a case was then registered at Shivaji police station.

The accused had damaged the lock of the store and fled off with readymade clothes, they mentioned. Some of the clothes were additionally recovered from the accused.


After a month-long investigation, police arrested the three males after receiving a tip-off. The accused were known as Chanchal alias Amit alias Bhangari, a resident of Hayaghat in Bihar's Darbhanga, Minni Kumar from Baliya in UP and Atul from UP's Bulandshaher.


Gurugram police spokesperson Subhash Boken mentioned the accused had stolen vehicles from Sector 29, Khedki Daula, Shivaji Nagar, Sector 10, Sector five, Sector 40, Palam Vihar. Additionally, they allegedly committed thefts at properties in spaces such as Badshahpur, Sadar, Sector 29, and Sushant Lok.


“All those crimes were committed in the city throughout the 12 months 2018-19,” he mentioned.
