First nomination from Raja Bhaiya’s party in Kaushambi


Allahabad: Accompanied through Independent MLA from Kunda and birthday party chief Raghuraj Pratap Singh aka Raja Bhaiya, Jansatta Dal Loktantrik’s (JDL) candidate from Kaushambi Shailendra Kumar filed his nomination for the parliamentary elections on Friday.

Kumar has been a three-time MP from Kaushambi in 1998, 2004 and 2009. He used to be additionally elected as an MLA from Chail in 1985 and 1989. He served as the state minister for social welfare and woodland in 1988. Kumar is the first JDL candidate to report nomination. Till now, the birthday party has announced simplest two candidates. Apart from Kumar, JDL will box Akshay Pratap Singh from Pratapgarh.


Before filing his nomination papers at the district collectorate, Kumar addressed a public assembly.


Thanking his supporters, the previous MP mentioned, “My fight is for the birthday party’s staff and the citizens of this constituency. I might make sure that Parliament hears about common guy’s issues and how citizens of this constituency had been struggling in spite of the several welfare schemes introduced through the government.”


In his speech, Raja Bhaiya mentioned that a super public representative is one that is well accessible and one whom citizens agree with. “We have floated a new birthday party which is bound to represent the public’s voice in Parliament.” On being asked whether JDL would sign up for forces with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) if his birthday party’s candidates win within the polls, Kumar, mentioned, “We have long gone to citizens with an agenda of building, if any birthday party has the similar ideology as ours, then we are with them.”
