Chided for PUBG, Hyderabad student kills self


HYDERABAD: Hurt over his folks reprimanding him for spending numerous time playing PUBG video game as a substitute of getting ready for the continuing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) checks, a 16-year-old class 10 student committed suicide by means of placing himself at his place of abode in Malkajgiri on Monday night.


The deceased used to be known as Kallakuri Sambashiva, 16, from Vishnupuri Extension in Malkajgiri. Sambashiva used to be a student of Gouthami School, Malkajgiri. His father Ok Bharath Raj, 45, is a clergyman. On Tuesday, Bharath Raj lodged a grievance with Malkajgiri police pointing out that his son Sambashiva killed himself by means of placing in his bed room on Monday night after he used to be chided by means of his mom, Umadevi, for enjoying PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds video game, evolved by means of PUBG Corporation, on a cell phone.


“Sambashiva used to play video game on telephone and my wife Umadevi warned him not to play the sport on Monday night. My son got indignant and committed suicide by means of placing in his bed room,” Bharath Raj discussed within the police grievance.


“Parents had warned him a number of instances. On Monday, his mom reprimanded him for enjoying video game as a substitute of getting ready for Tuesday’s English examination. Sambashiva went throughout the bed room and bolted the door. After he did not come out for sometime, his folks broke the latch and located him placing from the ceiling fan with a towel,” the SI said.
