BJP invokes Pulwama attack


With hundreds of cadres trailing behind in two-wheelers, BJP Coimbatore Lok Sabha candidate CP Radhakrishnan crisscrossed town on the last day of campaigning on Tuesday.

BJP senior chief L Ganesan additionally accompanied him in the campaign.


While campaigning at Chetty Street, Ganesan invoked Pulwama assault and Coimbatore bomb blast.


Ganesan said DMK leader MK Stalin had raised suspicion over the Pulwama assault. “If we had got the details about the assault, we might have stopped the assault and stored the lives of CRPF men. But on February 14, 1998, DMK leaders and a group of police officials knew that bombs would explode in the night time in Coimbatore town. But they did act to forestall the bomb blast and save the lives of the folks. We hassle concerning the lives of other folks. DMK always thinks about votes and not other folks,” said Ganesan.


Radhakrishnan promised to put in force many schemes for town.
