Bathinda DC transferred on EC's directions


BATHINDA: Punjab chief electoral officer complying with the orders of Election Commission of India on Saturday transferred Bathinda deputy commissioner Praneet Bhardwaj.

Punjab cadre 2011 batch IAS officer, B Srinivasan has been posted as Bathinda DC in his place. Srinivasan at the moment used to be on election responsibility as normal observer at Telangana. Praneet Bhardwaj has been requested to report to division of workforce whereas IAS Kumar Rahul has been directed to immediately report as normal observer at Telangana to alleviate Srinivasan. Till Srinivasan joins, Bathinda further deputy commissioner will discharge responsibility as deputy commissioner.
