Assange may be ‘kicked out’ of Ecuador mission, tweets WikiLeaks

LONDON: British police stationed armed officers outdoor the Ecuadorian embassy in London on Friday after tweets from WikiLeaks quoted what it mentioned had been high-level sources announcing that Julian Assange may well be kicked out of the construction inside of “hours to days”.

The red-brick embassy construction with white window frames and balconies was once quiet, though a couple of protesters collected outdoor. No embassy legit commented on the WikiLeaks founder’s status, whilst British international secretary Jeremy Hunt mentioned Assange is a “unfastened man” and can leave the embassy every time he chooses. Asked about the presence of armed officers outdoor the Ecuadorian Embassy, London’s Metropolitan Police drive mentioned there have been no trade in police procedure.

Assange hasn’t left the embassy since August 2012, fearing arrest and extradition to the USA for publishing labeled military and diplomatic cables thru WikiLeaks. Ecuador’s international ministry mentioned on Thursday it wouldn’t comment on what it called “rumours, theories or conjectures.”
