600 GMCH residents get pending stipend

NAGPUR: About 600 resident doctors at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) have in any case received their stipend that was due for last two months.

Office-bearers of Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) instructed NewsTread that the stipend of February was released four days in the past whilst that of March on April 15.

“Due to honest efforts through citizens and tremendous power of central committee of MARD, the administration has given us our lengthy pending stipend as of late. Now, our center of attention will be on getting revised stipend promised from April,” said Ashutosh Jadhav, member of MARD.

“We still need to know why citizens have to face such deficit, why cannot funds be correctly well deliberate?,” Jadhav said including that MARD will release pan Maharashtra agitation if equivalent scenario arises once more.

The stipends had been pending as the federal government had failed to liberate the important funds in time. Residents claimed this happens every year.
