47 postal ballot papers used in Kanpur Nagar, Akbarpur

Kanpur: As many as as 47 postal ballot papers have been used in Kanpur Nagar and Akbarpur parliamentary constituencies by way of the citizens concerned within the polling process on Tuesday. The polling process, which started on Tuesday, will proceed till April 25.

It could also be mentioned that government workers, engaged within the polling process, who cannot forged their votes at the polling day, use postal ballots to exercise their right to franchise.

According to the knowledge launched by way of the district election officer, Kanpur Nagar, a total 26 persons used the postal ballot for casting their votes. The best collection of postal ballots have been used in Govind Nagar meeting constituency whilst six persons used postal ballots in Sisamau constituency, 4 in Arya Nagar and 3 each in Kidwai Nagar and Cantonment meeting constituencies.

Similarly, 21 workers, engaged within the election process, used postal postal ballots--eight in Kalyanpur, six in Maharajpur, 5 in Ghatampur and two in Bithoor.

Meanwhile, district election officer Vijay Vishwas Pant on Tuesday inspected the information era department at Government Polytechnic and requested the persons deputed there to forged their vote through postal ballot between 10 am and five pm on April 17, April 24 and April 25. They can also forged their votes through postal ballot between April 18 and April 23 from nine am to six pm.
