First, unorganized labs which we call slum-based labs. Second, the labs run through technicians only, whilst third is labs where pathologists are not present. Fourth, only approved labs run through certified pathologists having PG level and MCI registration. If Patients develop into aware of unlawful practices, it should trade the state of affairs,” Kulkarni said.

A senior reputable from NMC’s well being department accepted that department of scientific training and drugs had directed municipal companies across the state to get a hold of a whole checklist of the pathology labs operating below their jurisdiction and facilities to be had there.

“It’s a continual procedure. The NMC will soon have main points of all path labs with it. However, at present we've 200 path labs registered with us. We have all information about certifications of those labs,” said the reputable.
