3 held for Rs 73 lakh burglary at Juhu flat

MUMBAI: Police on April 2 detected a case of burglary at an elderly couple's Juhu flat within 24 hours, with the arrest of 3 Nepalis, including two domestic is helping. The accused stole cash, mobiles, gold and diamond-studded embellishes value over Rs 73 lakh once they spiked the victims' dinner and broke open cabinets. Gurbinder Dugal (73), his wife Harpreet (60) and their 32-year-old special kid regained awareness around 10am on April 1. The trio used to be stuck at the freeway in Karwar, right through a check, as they attempted to flee to Nepal.

Dugal alerted residents and called up the police keep an eye on room, who directed Juhu police to retrieve CCTV photos from Beach House Apartment. They found that Ramsingh Saud (35) and Uttamsingh Saud (20), hired with Dugal, and their associate, Damni Saud (22), left the premises early on April 1. Additional commissioner of police (west) Manoj Sharma guided DCP (zone IX) Paramjit Singh Dahiya, who supervised four teams of ACP Dattatray Bhargude, Juhu senior inspector Padrinath Wavhal, inspector Ashok Sawant, assistant inspector Rahul Deshmukh and detection staff.
