18 from Gujarat clear UPSC exam


AHMEDABAD: The ultimate results of UPSC’s Combined Civil Services Examination (CCSE) 2018 was declared on Friday. Eighteen applicants from Gujarat have cleared the examination; one has made it to Top 100. In 2018, 131 from the state had passed initial assessments and 43 had cleared the mains. Interviews had been conducted for apportioning ranks and ultimate selection.


Kartik Jivani, a BTech student, has passed with mechanical engineering as a topic and were given the all-India rank (AIR) of 94, a first for Gujarat. Dr Manoj Barhat, who earned the MBBS degree from BJ Medical College, has were given AIR 622. “I am hopeful of having the IPS cadre,” he stated. Another a success alumnus of a town institution is Pinkesh Parmarhas were given AIR 685.
