Telangana police had on Thursday claimed that it had discovered data of the state whilst investigating alleged data robbery by means of IT Grids India Pvt Ltd, which created the 'Sevamitra' app for TDP. Madhapur police had on March 2 registered a case of prison conspiracy, robbery and under sections of the Information Technology Act alleging that sensitive data of electorate, including Aadhaar datasets had been used within the app with out consent.

“The Telangana police had been performing as according to the script written by means of YSR Congress MP V Vijayasai Reddy who had prepared a letter in opposition to the TDP on February 19 and submitted it to the Election Commission on February 22. This criticism was once adopted by means of an action plan in Hyderabad the place police raided the IT Grids workplace even prior to a police criticism was once registered,” the AP chief minister stated.
