UVCE to set up Water institute in Bengaluru


NEW DELHI: The University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bangalore University, Bengaluru and the UVCE Foundation, India and US have entered right into a Memorandum of Understanding between UVCE, Bengaluru and UVCE Foundation for putting in Water Institute on the occasion of Celebration of centenary yr of UVCE. Prof. Venugopal, Ok R, Vice Chancellor and B Ok Ravi, Registrar, Bangalore University have signed on behalf of the Bangalore University and Rajiv Chamaraj has signed on behalf of UVCE Foundation.


The primary purpose of the Water Institute is to deliver the experience from the other institutes like Indian Institute of Science, Indian Institute of Technology and UVCE Water Resources Group into one platform to resolve the water disaster and to succeed in to the tip customers with answers to their issues. Also, to create guy power on usage of water efficiently and effectively for higher management of water assets. With those there's an purpose to train the students of Bangalore University with the state of laboratory funded from the Government of Karnataka and UVCE foundation in the Bangalore University.
