Two bikers arrested for phone snatch

GURUGRAM: Two bikers were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly snatching a cell phone of a personal company worker in Udyog Vihar on Tuesday.

Chander Kant, who's from UP’s Mainpuri, was once returning home from paintings when the 2 assailants accosted him and snatched his cell phone, police said. “I paintings in a personal company and reside as a tenant in Dundahera village. Around 5pm, when I was going home after paintings when two bike-borne males got here from at the back of and fled away after snatching my handset. I raised the alarm but they were already gone through then,” the sufferer informed police.

Based at the criticism lodged on Wednesday, an FIR was once registered against the 2 accused beneath Section 379-A (snatching) at Udyog Vihar police station. At night, the city police arrested the duo from the same house.

They have been identified as Suresh and Sahil, citizens of Rangpuri in Delhi. Police said that the duo confessed to the crime.

“We are questioning the accused and trying to get better the motorcycle that they used in the crime,” said inspector Devender Singh, SHO of Udyog Vihar police station.
