Samiti to protest for MG park’s development


Hubballi: Mahatma Gandhi Smaraka Udhyanavana Suvihara Kriya Samiti has decided to launch intensive protests if authorities did not increase MG Park.

Samiti president P S Dharaneppanavar mentioned on Friday that MG Park, which is popularly referred to as Indira Glass House, is in a nasty state since a yr due to negligence of authorities. Despite several requests nothing has been achieved except for giving assurances, he alleged.


“MLAs and corporators say the park will be developed below Smart City Project, however days have handed and there has been no building in the park. Visitors are going through issues like stray canine risk and can’t get right kind consuming water. The lawn in the park has totally dried up,” he mentioned.


“Fed up with the negligence of authorities, we don't have any different option however to launch an intense agitation. We will look forward to a couple of extra days. If no building paintings is initiated, we will be able to move start protests,” he added.
