Protesters clash outside Indian mission in London

LONDON: A conflict broke out between teams of rival demonstrators assembled out of doors the Indian High Commission in London on Saturday.

Scotland Yard stated one guy was once arrested for "breach of peace" all through a face-off between UK-based Kashmiri and pro-Khalistan outfits chanting anti-India slogans and counter protesters chanting pro-Modi slogans.

The Metropolitan Police stated the man was once later "de-arrested, with no further action".

Members of teams such as the Overseas Pakistanis Welfare Council (OPWC) and Sikhs for Justice clashed with counter-protesters from teams together with the Friends of India Society, UK, all through a demonstration referred to as to protest towards "atrocities on ethnic minorities in India".

There have been no studies of accidents all through the conflict, which concerned several law enforcement officials intervening to keep an eye on the few dozen protesters.

Images and videos of the conflict have since been posted on social media, with both sides blaming the other for turning a relaxed protest violent.
